Tommy Tuberville relented his hold on all but a handful of military appointments, and the Senate, in a matter of seconds, approved over 400 of them by a simple en banc voice vote in unison. That saved Coach the embarrassment of having his fellow Republicals' names showing on the record that they voted against him.
The only hold he currently has is on the proposed appointments of eleven four-⭐️ generals, which the Senate expects to confirm before the holiday break. (Three-⭐️ generals are OK, though 🤷🏾♂️)
For nine months, TT held up these appointments bc he opposed the military's policy of allowing abortion clinic access to women who needed to cross state lines for duty.
In exchange for endangering readiness and harming families and morale, Coach got...absolutely nothing. And why he's still fighting this losing battle when his leverage is all but gone mystifies me. It's like fighting to keep water in the sieve. Hope Chuck continues to keep the pressure on until everyone is confirmed.
The Senate must never allow one of its members to hold a nation hostage ever again.

Apparently the grift is real. GTA 6 (Florida) trailer was just released and now the rightwing grifters comes out calling it woke. Apparently because one of the protagonists is a woman. That is all. It has the same amount of sexism, violence, white and minority trash. It is basically your average GTA, now set in a Floridatown setting. But it is with ONE female character. Out of 2 (woman and a MAN).
And I can almost guarantee, that the grifters who are outraged, such as Tim Pool and I'm sure Ben Shapiro will get in on it, have never played any of it.
