I certainly look forward to the wing nuts demanding a reckoning for trump’s racist statements and actions. Maybe just an apology to start. Funny how Trump wasn't racist until 2015. Its the lefts typical playbook along with their media arm, no one on the right really believes or pays attention anymore. The word "racist" just doesn't have the effect it used to. That's sad for the people that it actually does affect. His racism wasn't relevant until he was running for office. Because he'd suddenly be representing people rather than just entertaining and he kicked his campaign off with one of the most blatantly racist comments we've seen from any major Presidential Candidate in decades.

How cool. Now offer your employees health insurance again, because it was uncool to take it away.

Lie, trump has been a known racist since he was caught excluding blacks from his rental housing. Racism and Donald Trump: a common thread throughout his career and life www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jan/12/racism-and-donald-trump-a-common-thread-throughout-his-career-and-lifeAnd yet the NAACP was giving Trump awards at the time. Im honestly not familiar with that case but this wasn't about Trump. You are just deflecting from the Trudeaus racist acts by saying but but Trump....

Central Park Five He's racist. So shut it. Im convinced that the Central Park Five is guilty. Does that make me a racist? I don't know a lot about the Central Park Five, but here's the details I do know: - Their confessions were all recanted. - Their confessions came after many hours of interrogation without access to basic needs like food, water or washrooms. - Some made their confessions after as much as 48hrs of interrogation without sleep - No defense attorneys were present - DNA testing demonstrated another culprit Which goes to a general discussion of torture: Torture doesn't extract truth, torture extracts confessions. Not real confessions, confessions. They will do whatever to end the torture even if it means lying to appease the questioner. When they give confessions under those conditions, there is no basis for the assumption that they are at all true. Whether you are racist or not.... hard to gauge on such a narrow definition. What you are is ignorant of the psychology involved and devoid of the empathy necessary to recognize why these conditions would be invalid.

Unfortunately for Trump most of the time such context makes what he says sound far worse... I guess you also believe that torture is an effective interrogation technique? Would you like a demonstration of why it isn't? (Torture is of course great for getting people to tell you what you want them to say - which, of course, is exactly what the far right are looking for atm., and have found in Trump.)

I guess Ive never really paid attention to Trudeau or just not seen him on television but does he speak with a lisp? He appears to in the clip of him apologizing. Can you please post all your whiny digs about how everybody "walks and talks" including your next door neighbor who never wears matching socks? I'm glad you're not a judge or we'd all get locked up for reckless eyeballing. I knew you were a "Snowflake" but now I realize you're just a "Lindsay Graham" wanabee.

Not ignorant and Im not void of empathy, I just don't have any for the 5. The ignorance is on you as you admit to not knowing much about the case. I agree that the cops screwed up in a horribly unimaginable way but you need to look further into the case and the actions, whereabouts and witnesses of the 5 that night. I have zero doubt about them being guilty.

It's tiny but it's there. *shrug* The reality is these kinds of things don't tend to get discussed in Canadian politics because of our strong bilingual reality. Also, it's hard to sound less coherent than Jean Chretien

The Trudeau scandal is certainly providing the cover republicans need to totally ignore the allegations that trump may have been blackmailing a foreign government leader to produce false allegations against a potential opponent in the presidential race.

Um, Biden has publicly gloated about threating Ukraine by with holding money unless they fired their AG that was investigating his son. Is this the scandal you are talking about?

There was that whole lawsuit about discrimination against black people in his buildings. But don't mind me, by all means, continue (hey). Also, there is physical evidence that the Central Park 5 were innocent. So if you're saying you believe they're guilty despite the evidence, then yes, you're racist (again, hey, not you FL - i dunno why i chose this post to reply to)

You’re kidding, Russian TV! Here: Timeline in Ukraine Probe Casts Doubt on Giuliani’s Biden Claim President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer is raising the specter that Joe Biden intervened in Ukrainian politics to help his son’s business. But if that was Biden’s aim, he was more than a year late, based on a timeline laid out by a former Ukrainian official and in Ukrainian documents. The official described to Bloomberg details about the country’s political dynamic in the run-up to early 2016 when Biden, then the U.S. vice president, threatened to hold up U.S. funding to Ukraine unless it cracked down on corruption. Biden’s chief demand was the ouster of a top Ukrainian prosecutor who he said had been ineffective. The episode has come under the spotlight in the last week because at one point, that prosecutor had been investigating a natural gas company where Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, sat on the board and received substantial compensation. There’s little question that the Bidens’ paths in Ukraine held the potential for conflict, and in a tweet last week, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said the U.S. should investigate the matter. But what has received less attention is that at the time Biden made his ultimatum, the probe into the company -- Burisma Holdings, owned by Mykola Zlochevsky -- had been long dormant, according to the former official, Vitaliy Kasko. “There was no pressure from anyone from the U.S. to close cases against Zlochevsky,” Kasko said in an interview last week. “It was shelved by Ukrainian prosecutors in 2014 and through 2015.” www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-05-07/timeline-in-ukraine-probe-casts-doubt-on-giuliani-s-biden-claimNice to see where you get your misinformation from though, comrade.

Sadly, that would be a better explaination. At least there would be reason there.

Samantha Bee Lays Into Ted Cruz: ‘Shut the Fuck Up, Bitch!’ The “Full Frontal” host slammed Cruz for saying people should calm down about Kavanaugh: “As long as an alleged sexual assaulter is ruling our laws about my body, I remain vexed.” Matt Wilstein Samantha Bee began this week’s episode of Full Frontal by returning to a topic she probably hoped she would never have to discuss again: Brett Kavanaugh’s penis. Or as cable news has been calling it all week, his “genitalia.” “First off, this fucking sucks,” the host said. “Secondly, you're the news, just say penis. Why are you say saying ‘genitalia?’ That sounds like 20 dicks. It sounds like a rat king of dicks.” After new allegations against the Supreme Court Justice emerged in the new book, The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation, this past week, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) went on ABC’s This Week to dismiss any and all concerns about his behavior. “At the end of the day, the American people made a judgment that the evidence wasn't there, the corroboration wasn't there,” Cruz told George Stephanopoulos, adding, “At some point, they just have to let the anger go and recognize that the democratic process actually moves on. And I think it's time for them to do that.” “Oh, should I let the anger go? Should I calm down? Should I smile more?” a furious Bee asked Cruz. “Shut the fuck up, bitch!” “The American people didn't get to make a judgment on this,” she continued. “The Senate did and they decided not to do a proper investigation. So yeah, as long as an alleged sexual assaulter is ruling our laws about my body, I remain vexed.” Bee also addressed the controversy over a New York Times excerpt from the new book that initially left out the detail that friends of Kavanaugh’s accuser say she did not remember the incident. Along with the “god-awful” tweet that began with “Having a penis thrust in your face at a drunken dorm party may seem like harmless fun...” the host said, “These were huge fuck-ups for The New York Times.” But she lamented the fact that those “fuck-ups” allowed Fox News to “deflect, focusing on editorial errors instead of the information.” “Interesting that Fox & Friends believes the victim who doesn't remember, but not the ones who do,” Bee said. “Though, to be fair, I can't recall Fox & Friends ever doing anything in good faith or anything good at all, except that one time Tucker Carlson fell asleep on air.” She added, “I’ve always wondered how Tucker Carlson sleeps and the answer is on television.” For more, listen to Samantha Bee on The Last Laugh podcast below: www.thedailybeast.com/samantha-bee-rips-into-ted-cruz-for-defending-brett-kavanaugh-shut-the-fuck-up-bitch?via=FB_Page&source=TDB&fbclid=IwAR3RJPJpFqNGyIAxgIrh4ephjs65bQ8VxnHuOnJeY1wpkM4c7-VSYqDV_KE
