Yeh, he's in deep something.... Wouldn't it be wonderful if Media actually countered the nonsense? Because the reality is that CRIME, such as violent crime and such seems to be really up in what you would call red states. But whatever.

You can tell that psychopaths like Chip Roy are serious about pro life. They're now introducing bills to remove protection of abortion clinics from violent anti abortion lunatics.
It is easy to be so psychopathic considering they're in safe districts. If anyone gets killed they will just blame someone else.
These are not functional adult. They're fascist lunatics in servitude of some of the most vile people in this nation.

God oovening! What a time for our microwave to die - right in the middle of cooking my dinner! Looking at all the websites to find the best deal on another 900W 25L with decent controls, is still a lesson in how not to be able to sort things properly (900W and 25L should be the obvious types of things you sort by when buying microwaves, right? ) The Kenwood K25MW14 we were using before I bought cheap, on offer from Curry's, so I can't complain it hasn't lasted long enough, (5+ years - not sure exactly how long), and I/we did really like the controls on it, though it's replacements (later 'versions') aren't the same in this regard Argh.

I've never had good luck with Samsung Microwave ovens. Not sure if that is still an issue, but all I've owned broke with normal use in short order.

So the headline is that China has a new futuristic supercarrier with railguns. The article says that some researcher wrote a white paper proposing it arguing that the nuclear reactor could be used to make the shells go hypersonic
...
So, obviously that puts them so far behind the US that we all forgot about the time Michael Bay turned it into a joke for 4 year olds ... before he properly ruined that franchise and it got semi revived only to kinda die again. Also, the US abandoned that project not because it couldn't do what they intended but because the friction destroyed barrels after only a few shots

Stupid Quebec fucktards Ukrainian hockey team invited to spend the year studying in Quebec have not started because ... Quebec has not yet authorized them for English education. Because Quebec is vitrolically protective of French heritage so you can only study in English with government permission www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6973679

Maybe on a cruiser type ship, but carriers?

We bought a large Panasonic with a rotating carousel that is over 20 years old. I replaced the carousel carrier once but other than that it has been remarkably reliable.

Maybe on a cruiser type ship, but carriers? I think the driver is the fact that they're looking for nuclear power and outside of subs and carriers, it has generally not been worthwhile economically or strategically to add a nuclear reactor. Though the fact that the US was able to get hypersonic speeds without one and the problem was not the power availability furthers the point that this white paper is worthless

Easy money. If it is true that Joe Biden will join the striking union workers it is perhaps the smartest, and cheapest, political move. It'll cost him nothing. It'll drive GOP absolutely fucking nuts and it'll send a message to all blue collar workers.
Trump talked his ass warm about how he was the little guys president but did absolutely nothing for them.

We had a Sears/ Kenmore micro when we first got married - lasted 20 years. Got a replacement one which lasted about twelve. Our current one's a Panasonic 1200w - very pleased with it. Only issue is that the interior LED light fell off from slamming the door repeatedly. I think I fixed it 😄

Factual information is dangerous for lying fascists. Jim Jordan blamed for 'throttling' safeguards against misinformation before election Fingers are being pointed at House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) for squelching research to identify and clamp down on misinformation, the Washington Post is reporting. According to the report, researchers seeking to figure out ways to weed out misrepresentations and lies with another election looming are blaming Jordan and a handful of his GOP collegues for making their lives miserable. As the Post's Naomi Nix, Cat Zakrzewski and Joseph Menn wrote, "The escalating campaign — led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and other Republicans in Congress and state government — has cast a pall over programs that study not just political falsehoods but also the quality of medical information online." Case in point, they note, is research being done at Stanford University that is stalling out under the threat of litigation… www.rawstory.com/jim-jordan-big-tech-2665722402/

Anytime now. I heard btw that Joe is really old. Can't be good. Altho he was their preferred candidate in 2020, when he was really old too. Weird.
