I'm assuming it's because the General doesn't think that things like sex/gender (to a degree), race and economic background are related to a person's ability to fight?

Probably - and this 🤬hole of a senator, who reps Alabama while living in Florida, continues to live as a racist. Pretty soon Coach Tubs will start using the "summa my best players were black" excuse.

He's also the one who is super into Military, riding on the shoulders of family members who served, but haven't served a day himself.

ABC News has this bogus poll on Sunday, now comes out and says that the probe into Joe's classified docs case has expanded "exponentially" and that witnesses are set to be interviewed. If that were true, neocons would be latched on to that already rather than Hunter since at least he's directly attached to it 🤷🏾♂️

So as one of the last things we did before flying out this evening was check out Peggy's Cove. Which I initially thought was stupid and ugly* until I was running across slabs of rock like a 37 year old kid. But something's bothering me. See, the namesake is supposedly** a survivor of a shipwreck who was coming to the new world to get married to her fiancee and the cove is named after where she was recovered and lived and so towns folk would say they're seeing "Peggy of the Cove". But... did she end up living with her fiancee? Did she shipwreck in the town she was supposed to arrive at? There's a hole to this story. And why are they going so far as to need to call her "Peggy of the Cove"? Unless it's a nearby town...
And then a thought came to me: is Peggy's Cove named after Nova Scotia's favorite prostitute?
* so about the ugly bit.... for some reason there's no forest anywhere near Peggy's Cove despite there being a forest the entire way there and there's a boatload of shrubland with scattered trees and with fall reds out, I suggested to my wife that it looked like someone had chemically sprayed the entire region.
** Wikipedia suggests that this origin for the name is fake but this fun thought came to me before I checked that

Looks like Ivanka got spared by the ruling. Not shocking, IMO. Eric was accused of using his father's playbook and Jr was actually running shit but Ivanka's exposure seemed more tangential

It is not surprising that Manchin is giving Menendez tepid support. And of course Tom Cotton comes out in defense; because they're going after Trump, it must be the DEMS going after Menendez.

Boebert - She's against assistance to poor because she lived it, and thankfully broke free. Not that she desperately needed it in a moment of personal trauma, but rather that it somehow made her dependent of it and she got out of it, so therefor the best thing is to let people suffer, so they don't have the chances she had. Perfect logic; then moments later she want to lower the salary of the deputy salary, because you know...reasons.
That is so perfectly GOP. Kiss up, kick down. And let everyone suffer.

But as Hey used to say, it is better to get COVID naturally, so you can withstand it better a second time.

Maybe not so ‘perfect’. Trump has fought hard to 'suppress' his 'perfect' call to GA secretary of state: report Former President Donald Trump has maintained that he did nothing wrong during his now-infamous early January 2021 phone conversation with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger — a conservative Republican who has pushed back against Trump's false claims of a stolen election. Publicly, Trump has stuck with his claim that the call was "perfect" and that he broke no laws when he asked Raffensperger to "find" him votes. But according to reporting from journalists Adam Rawnsley and Asawin Suebsaeng in an article published by Rolling Stone on September 27, Trump has had a different type of argument behind closed doors. Privately, they report, Trump has been furious with Raffensperger for making a recording of their call publicly available. And he wants to see his "perfect" call excluded from being used as evidence... www.rawstory.com/trump-has-fought-hard-to-suppress-his-perfect-call-to-ga-secretary-of-state-report-2665746191/

So Kevin McCarthy would like Menendez to resign. When asked about George Soros....meh.
