Even if the House gathers enough votes to impeach Mayorkas for (checks notes) nothing, is still just embarrassing to the party as a whole. They're not serious about the border or anything else. Just a bunch of clowns who'll say and do anything for attention.
Ronna quitting in the middle of a campaign tells us that the SS Blob will sink a lot faster than anticipated.
Losing the immunity case = SCOTUS won't touch it with a 100-foot pole from Leonard Leo's boat.
Yesterday was a good day for justice.

Parenthesis are tools to clarify, just as the Oxford Comma is a tool to clarify. There are times where we should be explicit but 99% of the time when we are not explicit, a common meaning can be discerned. It should also be noted: (a/b)(c/d) = (ac)/(bd) Why the fuck would we go {term on top}/{term on bottom}{term on top}. That's not a simple way to communicate. Oh, we might do it in terms of: ({numerator of first concept}/{denominator of first concept})({numerator of second concept}/{denominator of second concept}), but each section is an explicitly separate section so it would actually make more sense to use parenthesis to separate them since they are distinct concepts. However, the simplest form of many expressions has many items in both numerator and denominator so it makes sense, in that simplest form, to be communicating it in the simplest way. For example: PV = nRT - the gas equation T = PV/nR - restructuring the gas equation to solve for temperature That's the simplest form of communicating that information. Any reasonable person can easily follow that logic of that separation and there's no reason why R would be considered part of the numerator. In fact, if I wanted: T2(P2) - T1(P1) I'd probably write it as T2 - T1 = (P2V/nR) - (P1V/nR) = (P2-P1) * (V/nR) That first line there, why am I putting parenthesis around those terms when BEDMAS says that they clearly would be handled first anyways? Well, because they're about explicitly defining the concept. I'm highlighting what I'm defining. It enables stronger communication. But putting it around the denominator? It provides no benefit to communication. It enables no greater understanding of what is being done. Context matters then? But that doesn't mean they don't have any meaning at all in the first place. I never said they don't.

Speaking of memes that need to fucking die, Taylor Swift getting from Tokyo to Las Vegas in time for kickoff.
1) It's 7 time zones, not 17. Yes, 17 time zones separate Tokyo and Las Vegas, but there's this mysterious thing called "the world is a fucking sphere" that magically makes it so if you go the other way around the Earth, you roll over to the other end of the 24hr clock. 24 - 17 = 7. Magic! 2) The logistics are not that hard. I checked, a commercial passenger could board the plane at Haneda Airport for their 10pm flight on Saturday and arrive in Las Vegas at 3:30pm... on Saturday... having spent an hour and a half in Vancouver praying that two different customs agents would be chill (you'd need to pass through Canadian customs to get access to the terminal and then pass through American pre-check customs to get to the plane - well, it's possible Vancouver has a shortcut letting you skip the former). Sure, 10pm might be too early for her but a private jet will likely be used (and there's plenty to criticize about that) letting her pick whatever fucking time she wants and she has a whole day of buffer to squeeze it in to. My point is that this isn't close to a near thing.
(Yes, I've had this debate with someone in my life a few too many times because she keeps finding a new "expert" who is terrified of how Taylor could make this trip. Like how apparently some doctor says how terrible an idea it is to fly for 17hrs even though a direct flight would be only 10hrs across 7 time zones)

Idiot turd moron margie complains that the impeachment failed because all of D's showed up to vote. That they're so ruthless that they stopped the morons of the right to go after a secretary for no fucking reason.
I genuinely believe that margie belongs in a mental institution.

Something seems off in those numbers. The US GDP is currently 23T. There's no logic to it being 30T due to immigration. Is that a 10 year combined total? Tax revenues are often reported as 10 year combined totals and 1T from 7T of economic activity does make sense....
