Y'know, I'm not saying that it isn't worth asking whether Fani Willis's money is reflective of legitimate and reported earnings, but I do know that marginalized communities routinely do not trust the system to not royally fuck them over and therefore many members are suspicious of components of the system and therefore not use or only partially use things like banks that majority communities think is a nothing thing.

But as in the case of all the racists that vote for them, they are somehow on the right on the political scale of everything - and everything else is on the left. I can't find the tweet but I saw one last night that pointed out: if Trump's lawyers wanted to be effective, they'd focus less on a question of misconduct and more on a question of "Conflict of Interest", disqualify the prosecutor, forcing a new prosecution team to take over which greatly increases the possibility that the trial gets delayed beyond the election.

Similarly ⬇️ This morning they (msnbc) were saying that in Georgia opposing counsel could be married and it would not be a conflict of interest as long an opposing parties know. Seems hardly a conflict if counsel on the same side are having an affair. I think the gist of it is if Fani profited from hiring Wade which is not apparent in the testimony so far. |

If you have a Special Prosecutor they're supposed to be independent so you could make an argument there but that's not the real point. The point is: you have to actually demonstrate a legal problem, not a moral one. If, say, she benefitted financially from the affair, that doesn't mean that Donald Trump's charges are invalid. |
