Yukon Territory criticizes American offshore drilling program in Alaska for violating Canadian waters. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/proposed-beaufort-licences-infringe-arctic-sovereignty-1.3498469Basically, Canada says that the maritime border should act as a continuation of the straight border between US and Canada. The US (and I think normal International Law) says that it's actually based upon the way the coast is formed and as it so happens, the coast changes the angle of the maritime border. This creates a wedge that both countries claim as their own and the US is offering to sell some drilling rights in there.

Oooh nightmare flashbacks to the intricacies of international maritime law! I'm sure that President Trump can simplify this into an issue of reparations for Ted Cruz or Canadian arctic terrorism.
