Worms for the Worm God!
Have at it. I figure we can do a new thread like this each day.

Hey, i was thinking about restricting posting to registered members. It doesn't take much, just an email. Thoughts?

BTW, we might want to do the MRR for the day on the main page so we can post new folders under it for new subjects. If we post the new MRR here, it can be swamped by any new subject folder created.
Meaning - Instead of MRR, you call it MRR (Date) and then we post the subjects of the days under it. Also, possible adding a folder for charts, polling etc on the main page that are stickied so we can drop important information in there that we can easily pull up - folders we don't comment in. Just put information in.

I figured instead of creating a new topic for each story we want to share, we could create an mmr each day and just do all posts in that thread.

Looking at Zeke's e-mail page - Three of four top paragraphs are about Trump, third paragraph gets to Obama Cuba visit, then Must Reads - three of four are Trump, then Sound Off quotes - two of two are Trump, then Bits and Bites - 11 were Trump, four were not. Gee, media enabling him much?

If anyone else wants to be a moderator, please let me know. So far, i've restricted the boards as follows: anyone can access and view, but to post or create threads you need to be a member or staff .
Everyone here is already a member; so let me know who anyone else wants to be staff too (moderators)

www.cnn.com/2016/03/21/world/name-our-ship-boaty-mcboatface/index.html(CNN)A state of the art ship funded by the UK government for polar research may soon be christened "Boaty McBoatface" if online voters get their way.
The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) opened a poll for the naming of the 129-meter long icebreaker, the largest and most advanced British research vessel to date. When will anyone learn, do NOT leave it up to social Media to determine anything.

I figured instead of creating a new topic for each story we want to share, we could create an mmr each day and just do all posts in that thread. I'm thinking we use the week to experiment with the different preferences. Multi-threads make following discussions easier, single thread makes for less places to look for updates. Six of one, half dozen of another. One other option I've seen in the past is having single thread and then moderators prune out vibrant discussions into their own thread, but that puts a lot of onus on the moderators

Cruz wrote penned a highly critical op-ed for Politico, suggesting the President is visiting Cuba to “hang out with Raul Castro and his henchmen.”
I am SHOCKED! So op-eds are now 'whiny BS'?

Charlie Pierce has a great recap of the Flint Water hearings: www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/news/a43111/flint-hearings-republican-hyprocisy/Money quote: Jesus, what a mess. But the howling hypocrisy of conservative Republicans feigning concern about environmental safety, and the howling hypocrisy of conservative Republicans pretending that they expected the EPA to take care of this crisis, was extraordinarily hard to take. Nine days out of ten, they'd be baying at the moon about regulations strangling business and about devolving federal functions to the states, which are run by people like Rick Snyder. Today, though, rather than confront the complete failure of that entire theory of government in this awful episode, it was time for them to argue that the EPA wasn't tough enough in regulating Snyder's bungling. Where were the jackboots, they seemed to be saying, when the citizens of Flint could have used them.

I found this funny comment... Republicans believe women get pregnant just to have a fun abortion and gay people became gay just for the fun of being discriminated against. Reps. believe that health care shouldn't be a right because people will rush to the hospital for a fun time of surgical operations. Reps are wrong about everything and should get a free fun time permanent vacation to North Korea.

They did a speech study that showed that Hillary and Sanders speak at a 15-16 year old level. Trump speaks at 10-11 year old level and Cruz is barely above him. "Suckers for everybody!" or "Everybody's a Sucker?"

and gay people became gay just for the fun of being discriminated against. It's a lifestyle choice. Like waking up one morning and having a craving for rim jobs and dick. And to be persecuted and fired in some states, and assaulted and killed in others.

Now that Oil have risen to about $ 40.00 a barrel a lot of people will go back to work. I don't mind paying $ 2.33 a gallon for gas if people find work. I read yesterday about an airport that runs totally on solar energy. The GOP would probably call that "Devil Worship."

Good Morning!
Thanks Outsider and Forgottenlord for setting this up. The new TIME Facebook setup sucks. (Although it was interesting seeing some of your Facebook profiles and actual photos of what you look like.) I could have done without knowing what Collie looks like and seeing more of his pathetic whining about censorship. Oh well, I guess we won't have to hear from him again.
